Defense.com's threat management tools are designed to save time by providing a single interface for managing the threats and remediation steps identified by the platform. Remediations are the actions we suggest you undertake to address the threats detected by our platform. These can be quickly and easily assigned to other users in your Defense.com so that you can take action fast.
Assigning all remediations for one/many threats
Navigate to Threats in the navigation sidebar on the left of the screen.
Select the threat(s) you wish to assign the remedations for using the checkboxes on the left-hand side of the table.
Click Assign to user at the bottom of the page and begin typing the name of the user you'd like to assign the rememdiations to.
Once you have found the user, click their name and then click Apply to assign all remediations for these threats to that user.
Once the remediations have been assigned, they will receive an email notification from [email protected] informing them of this.
Assigning individual rememdations on a single threat
Navigate to Threats in the navigation sidebar on the left of the screen.
Locate the threat you wish to assign rememdations for and click the threat Title or click the View threat button under the Actions column
Next, navigate to the Remedations tab
Select the rememdations you'd like to assign using the checkboxes on the left-hand side.
Now, click Assign to user at the bottom of the page and begin typing the name of the user you'd like to assign the rememdiations to.
Once you have found the user, click their name and then click Apply to assign the remediations to that user.
Once the remediations have been assigned, they will receive an email notification from [email protected] informing them of this.
Threat remediations can only be assigned to confirmed users. Confirmed users are those who have an account and have signed in.
