Defense.com's threat management tools are designed to save time by providing a single interface for managing the threats and remediation steps identified by the platform.

The notes feature allows you to record and track your progress in remediating a threat, which is useful should you have multiple people working on a threat or you need to refer back to this for auditing/compliance purposes.

  1. Navigate to Threats in the navigation sidebar on the left of the screen.

  2. Locate the threat you'd like to add a note to and open the threat side-drawer by either clicking on the threat Title or selecting the View threat button under Actions.

  3. Next, navigate to the Notes tab

  4. Here you'll be able to add a note, add attachments and @mention users within your account

  5. Once your note is complete, click Add Message to submit it.

And that's it! You've added a note to a threat! πŸŽ‰
