Uninstalling on a Windows device
Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app
Navigate to Apps
Select Apps & features
Locate and click on Defense.com Orbital Agent
Click Uninstall and follow the on-screen prompts
Uninstalling on Linux device
Before running the command, ensure you have administrative access to the system where Defense.com Orbital is installed
Launch a terminal window on your Linux system. You can typically find it in your applications menu or by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T
Run the following command:
sudo /opt/Defensecom/Orbital/maintenancetool --confirm-command --default-answer purgeWhen the uninstall has finished, in the terminal, you'll see Removal completed successfully.
Uninstalling remotely
Log in to your my.defense.com account
Select Endpoints from the navigation on the left-hand side
Click Orbital Agent from the sub-navigation
From the Orbital Agent index page, click on the Uninstall this Endpoint icon in the Actions column to the right of the endpoint you'd like to uninstall
Click OK to confirm you're sure you want to uninstall this endpoint
And that's it! You've successfully uninstalled the Orbital Agent. π
