Note: Before going ahead and resetting 2FA, it's worth knowing that a common cause of 2FA issues is that the internal clock in the Google Authenticator app has lost synchronisation with Google's servers. To fix this, go to the main menu of the Google Authenticator app, then tap "More" > "Settings" > "Time correction for codes" > "Sync now".

If you're still unable to verify your 2FA codes, a company admin user can reset 2FA on your account by following the below steps.

  1. Log in to your Defense.com account, click on All Users in the bottom right of the dashboard

  2. You'll then be presented with a list of users set up for your company. Once you've found the user you're looking for, click on their Name.

  3. Finally, click Reset 2FA

That's it! You've reset two-factor authentication. The user will be prompted to set up 2FA from scratch when they next login.

Note: If you're a company admin and you've lost access to your account, please Contact Us.
