Note: Before going ahead and resetting 2FA, it's worth knowing that a common cause of 2FA issues is that the internal clock in the Google Authenticator app has lost synchronisation with Google's servers. To fix this, go to the main menu of the Google Authenticator app, then tap "More" > "Settings" > "Time correction for codes" > "Sync now".

If you're still unable to verify your 2FA codes, a company admin user can reset 2FA on your account by following the below steps.

  1. Log in to your Defense.com account, click on your name in the top right-hand corner, then click Company.

  2. On the following page select Users in the top right-hand corner.

  3. You'll then be presented with a list of users set up for your company. If you're struggling to find the right user you can use the Filters option at the top to search by email, or name.

  4. Once you've found the user you're looking for, click on their Email Address.

  5. Finally, click Reset 2FA

That's it! You've reset two-factor authentication. The user will be prompted to set up 2FA from scratch when they next login.
