  1. Login to your Defense.com account and select the Threats icon from the left-hand menu.

  2. From the expanded menu select Asset Profile

  3. Once you've clicked this, you'll be taken to the Asset profile screen where you can fill in the details of the OS or Device you're looking to add.

    i. Select a User that this asset will be assigned to (optional)
ii. Select a Vendor (e.g Microsoft or Apple)

iii. Select a Product (e.g Windows 10 or iPad)

iv. Create a Label to make it identifiable.

    v. Then click Add.

Please Note: If your Product isn't in the list available, adding it will submit the product for further checks - if we're able to verify your entry, it'll be added to our product list for future use.

  4. If you'd like to include some more information for an asset, such as a Hostname or IP address, you can do so by clicking the Advanced Settings drop down and filling in additional information about this asset.

And that's it! Once your assets have been added, details of any threats related to the device or operating system are available in the Threat Dashboard and Threat List sections of your control panel. A brief overview is also available on your main Defense.com Dashboard.

Can I stop being notified about threats related to my assets?
