To prepare for an upcoming engagement, our Penetration Testing team requires all the test prerequisites and target information to be submitted a minimum of five working days ahead of the test starting. This is to allow our team sufficient time to ensure they have access to the systems in scope and that they have a sufficient understanding of the targets. The process of submitting this information is super straightforward and can be completed by following the steps below.
Log in to your Defense.com account, and select Penetration Testing from the navigation on the left-hand side.
On the Penetration Testing page, find the report you need to submit your target information for and click Confirm Scope.
You'll then be asked to submit information such as Test targets and Points of contact
Once you're happy that you submitted all of the required information, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Submit Scope
ℹ️ The information requested will differ depending on the type of assessment being carried out.
ℹ️ Points of contact will receive notifications and updates during the assessment, including when your report is ready to review.
And that's it! You've submitted the scope for your upcoming penetration test. 🎉
