Performing regular vulnerability scans allows you to quickly assess whether any changes within your environment have exposed weaknesses that could be exploited by hackers. This guide will cover how to enable a schedule for a vulnerability scan group that has already been set up. If you need to create a group, refer to this guide.

  1. Log in to your Defense.com account and select Scanning from the navigation on the left-hand side.

  2. From the expanded menu, select Vulnerability Scanning.

  3. Next, on the scan group index page, click Add schedule under the Actions menu.

  4. From the Add Schedule modal, select a Start date, Frequency and select how often the scans will occur using the Every field.

  5. Once you're happy with your selections, make sure the Enable Schedule field is ticked and click Add Schedule.

Vulnerability scan scheduling uses the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) timezone

And that's it! You've successfully scheduled your vulnerability scans. πŸŽ‰
