The first step to deploying our Endpoint Protection is to create an installation package. This package will determine which modules are installed on your devices. The packages also act as groups, with any devices using the installation package appearing in the group the package is linked to.

  1. From the Defense.com Dashboard, click on the Endpoints icon in the navigation menu.

  2. From the expanded menu, select Endpoint Protection.

  3. Next, click Add Package, located in the top right of your screen.

  4. Then, you'll need to give the package a name using the Package Description field create an Uninstall Password. This password will be needed when removing Endpoint Protection from a device. However, this will be available from your Defense.com account, so don't worry about storing this locally.

  5. Next, select the Modules you'd like enabled within the installation package

  6. Once you're happy with your selections, click Create package.

  7. Your Endpoint Security package has now been created. If you go to the package itself, you can now view the Uninstall Password and Installation Links.

  8. You have the option to copy the link to your clipboard, download the installer directly from your browser, or even email it to your colleagues.

And that's it! You've successfully created an installation package for Endpoint Protection. πŸŽ‰
