How to run a remote Endpoint Protection scan

This guide will walk you through the process of running an Endpoint Protection scan remotely!

  1. From your Defense.com dashboard, click on the Prevention icon in the navigation menu.


  2. From the expanded menu select Endpoint Protection.


  3. Select the package containing the machines you want to run scans from. We will use the "Defense.com Tutorial" package for this guide.


  4. From the package screen, navigate to View Endpoints in the top right corner to view all of the endpoints associated with the package.


  5. Once on the Endpoints screen, you can now identify which endpoint you would like to scan and hit the Scan Now button highlighted in red below!

That's it πŸŽ‰ A scan task has now been created and your machine will undergo a scan in the background. Once complete, your endpoint(s) will be updated on Defense.com with any newly found endpoint information!
