How to delete a user

In this article we'll go through the steps to delete a user from my.defense.com.

  1. From your Defense.com Dashboard click All users.

  2. To delete a user, click the bin icon in the Actions column.

  3. Confirm the deletion by clicking OK on the pop-up.

  4. If successfully deleted you'll see the following in the bottom right of the page.

    That's it! πŸŽ‰ You've successfully deleted the user.


    If the bin icon is greyed out, it might indicate that the user serves as a point of contact for a penetration test or Cyber Essentials assessment. Please submit a support ticket, and within the ticket, specify a user whom we can designate as the point of contact to replace the user you intend to delete.
