Preparing for installation

  1. Uninstall any existing antimalware or Internet security software from your Windows Computer, as this may interfere with the operation of Endpoint Protection.

Note: Most popular security programs automatically detected and removed at installation time, but we still recommend taking this precaution.

  2. The installation requires administrative privileges and Internet access. If the target computer is part of an Active Directory domain, you should use domain administrator credentials for remote installation. Otherwise, make sure you have the necessary credentials at hand for all computers you wish to install Endpoint Protection on.

    Running the installer

  1. Once your company admin has set up an Endpoint Security package, use the link they've provided you with to download the installer.

  2. Open your Downloads folder and double-click on the downloaded file.

  3. The installer will now start downloading Endpoint Security.

  4. Once that's finished, you'll be prompted for admin confirmation to proceed with the installation. Click Yes when this prompt appears.

  5. The installer will now run some checks and complete the installation, which may take a few minutes.

And that's it! Once installed, you can access Endpoint Security via your Start Menu, or by right-clicking on the Tray Icon.
