Are you looking to prove that you've had a pen test without giving away the findings? You're in the right place. A letter of completion serves as confirmation that a penetration test has been conducted on the systems in scope. However, it does not confirm that the testing was successful or that the systems in scope are free of vulnerabilities.

Defense.com does not generate a letter of completion if Critical or High risk vulnerabilities are found during the assessment.

  1. Log in to your Defense.com account and click Penetration Testing in the navigation on the left-hand side

  2. From the penetration testing index page, locate the report you'd like the letter of completion for

  3. Select Download Report under the Actions column

  4. Then, from the expanded menu, select Letter of Completion

  5. This will then automatically download a PDF copy of the letter to your downloads folder

And that's it! You now know how to obtain a letter of completion for your penetration test. πŸŽ‰
